In Philippians 3:10 the Apostle Paul writes his personal mission statement - the purpose of his life; "I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death"
Paul wants to know Jesus and become like Jesus. He wants to live like Jesus, love like Jesus, and suffer like Jesus.
Knowing Jesus is much different than knowing about Jesus. Many people know about Jesus but choose not to know Jesus. Knowing Jesus involves a cost - sometimes a big cost!
The Apostle Paul states that he wants to know Jesus. What about you, do you want to know Jesus or do you simply want to know about Jesus?
